How to remove semi-permanent varnish with acetone?

Halfway between classic polish and acrylic gel, the semi-permanent varnish offers a flawless manicure and long-lasting hold ideal for those who want to do their nails at home. But, do you know how to remove it with acetone? Today, the nail supply expert Maryton will give you ideas.

There are two methods for removing your semi-permanent varnish with acetone. But, beforehand you must pass the nail file on your nails to remove the shiny layer of top coat. This will make it easier to remove the varnish afterwards.

Wrapping in foil

Soak your make-up remover cotton pads with your acetone solution. Place them on your nails and form a foil around each nail using aluminum foil. Leave the product on for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove each packet one by one. Rub the soaked makeup remover cotton on your nail. Try peeling off the polish with your cuticle pusher.

The nail bath

If you don’t want to waste too much time wrapping all your nails in foil, you can also opt for a nail bath. To do this, fill a container with acetone solution and soak your nails. Wait a good ten minutes for the solution to take effect. Push back the varnish using your cuticle pusher.

Hoping that this article has pleased you and will give you ideas! In addition, I also advise you to invest in some professional manicure kits to care for your nails!
