Many of you often ask yourself the question, can you use “normal” varnish for stamping or do you absolutely need a special stamping varnish? Today, your nail supply expert Maryton will give you answers.
The absolute answer is: No… but… and yes, there is a but.
Stamping varnishes are more condensed in color, ie they are very pigmented and the consistency of the formula is thicker and more opaque, which allows the design to be really seen.
An ordinary varnish is thinner, the consistency is much more watery. So that means the polish won’t cling to the ridges and grooves of the stamping plates, making the drawings are not clear.
Can I use regular polish for stamping? Sure! but the result may not be what you want if the varnish is not sufficiently pigmented and thick. Experiment and experiment!
OK! I believe you have know the main difference between stamping polish and regular/regular polish. In addition, I advise you to invest in a complete professional manicure kit to care for your nails!
